Bengal Barbecue: Great Use of Tight Space

Sporting one of Disneyland's most whimsical bits of signage, Bengal Barbecue is one of the park's most unusual counter service food options. Tucked to one side of Adventureland's busy promenade, it features several varieties of skewers, including beef, chicken, vegetable, and the truly you-don't-see-that-everyday-at-a-theme-park Bacon-Wrapped-Asparagus. Mickey Pretzels and other snacks are also available, and the prices are reasonable.

Grabbing one of the few tables is a matter of lucky timing, but--in Disneyland's cozy world--you can simply travel a few meters from the jungle to enjoy your skewer in New Orleans or the Old West.

With few dining options in Adventureland (basically this and the Dole Whip stand), it's a good thing Bengal Barbecue features a quick-moving crew of Cast Members who manage to keep the lines from building up. If you need a quick re-fuel while traveling between attractions, it's a fun, out-of-the-ordinary choice.
